Légende : 28/09/2015 - District de Tuléar, MADAGASCAR - En février 2013, le cyclone Haruna ravage toute la partie Sud de Madagascar et détruit la digue de protection du fleuve FIHERENANA provoquant l'inondation du village de BEKOAKE et de toute la région de Tuléar. Toutes les maisons du village ainsi que les champs de manioc, de maïs et coton alentours ont été détruits. Cet évènements exceptionnel, même pour une région "habituée" aux saisons cycloniques, a déclenché de nombreuses opérations humanitaires d'envergure par des ONG internationales. In february 2013, the Haruna cyclone devastates the whole South of Madagascar and destroys the protective dam of the FIHERENANA river, ending up in the flooding of the BEKOAKE village and of the whole region of Tulear.
All of the houses in the village, as well as the cassava, corn and cotton fields around have been destroyed.
