Kihnu and Manija are tiny Estonian islands located in the Baltic Sea, south west of Estonia. This 600 persons community's traditions have been kept over centuries essentially by women as the men were at sea to hunt seals and fish. The Kihnu Cultural space is inscribed on the UN as an Intangible cultural Heritage of the Humanity.
