Caption : Un ballon lache ses feux d'artifice lors du festival de Tazaungmon (aussi appelle Tazaungdaing), ou fete des ballons de Taunggyi, qui marque chaque annee la fin de la saison des pluies lors de la derniere pleine lune avant le huitieme mois du calendrier birman, a Taunggyi, dans l'Etat Shan. Chaque annee, des dizaines de milliers de visiteurs de toute la Birmanie se pressent dans la ville pour voir decoller des ballons d'air chaud remplis de feux d'artifice (appelles Nya Mee Gyi). Une competition est organisee et chaque village ou region amene son ballon pour y participer. Les defaillances sont nombreuses et certains ballons s'ecrasent sur les spectateurs ou lancent trop tot les feux d'artifices qu'ils ont embarque provoquant morts ou blesses. Each year tens of thousands of visitors from all of Myanmar come to this city to see hot air balloons filled with fireworks (called Nya Mee Gyi) take off. A competition in which each village or state brings its hot air balloons is organised .
